More info on upcoming scum and villainy wave:

http://fantasyflightgames.com/edge_news.asp?eidn=5138

First we have the rest of the headhunter pilots spoiled:

Not much to say about the PS3 generic that hasn't been covered with the PS1 generic, other than for one point you can nerf predator a bit.
The PS5 guy is a bit unimpressive. I guess he is a cheap PS5 headhunter with access to EPT slot, though he's vastly inferior to N'dru Suhlak. It's a shame, if only he could steal a token from an opponent...

Next up we've got some more of the Scum astromechs:

R4-B11 seems designed for Drea Renthal (we'll get to that later), but at three points with a bit of a meh ability (only really puts the hurt on agility 3+ ships), I don't think it'll be too popular even on Drea.
R4 agromech on the other hand... brilliant! A free target lock for spending a focus? Yes please! Wait, I can use it on the same attack? Double yes please! Y-wings with blaster turrets and R4 are the obvious choice, letting you use the turret and still have a TL for rerolls. Plus it only costs 2pts!

The Scum and Rebel Y-wings get some love:

Bomb load out is pretty straight forward, finally the bombers can bomb!
The autoblaster turret is ok for a 2pt upgrade. Range 1 isn't great, but it still gives you extra attack options, and may be worth chucking on if you have some spare points.
Finally we have the most interesting of the Y-wing buffs: BLT-A4 Y-wing. I really like this title, as it lets the Y-wing do something unique. No ship in the game other than Corran can perform two attacks in one turn (gunner/luke doesn't count). It gives you some really interesting builds, buffs the Y-wing, but also gives it a disadvantage. BTL-A4 and ion turret will make agility 0/1 ships sad-face as they take 3 damage and an ion token. Blaster and autoblaster turret are a little harder to make work, but I'm sure interesting things will come out of it. My favourite build with the BTL-A4 title so far is; Gold squadron pilot, BTL-A4, ion turret, R3A2, engine, for the double stress and ion token.

Finally we've got the PS2 generic Y-wing and the two uniques:

Generic PS2 is essentially a Gold squadron pilot with access to different astromechs, some of which are actually quite good.
Drea Renthal is solid, and likes bringing an unhinged astromech to give him lots of green maneuvers. I see Drea as a decent carrier for proton torpedoes, if only his PS was better, or he had access to deadeye. The other use for I see for Drea is with the BTL-A4 title using an ion turret (or maybe an autoblaster turret and engine).
Kavil is just awesome; blaster turret, engine, R4, and maybe an EPT (veteran instincts is always handy) lets him put the hurt on most things for only 35pts. PS9 attack 4 turret is always a good thing.

Really excited for Scum and Villainy, mostly of the Y-wing love!

So far it looks to be Black Sun, with random bounty hunters, pirates and slaver groups/individuals thrown in.

The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.

So this appeared yesterday.....

And includes a TIE Advanced with some nifty little buffs such as:
Commander Alozen.

And these cards.

Apparently there are three other unique pilots for the Advanced too.
