- (Wave Serpent w/ t-l EML, SC): (120pts)

Troops 2: (10 Dire Avengers): (152pts)
- (Exarch, dual catapults, bladestorm)
- (Wave Serpent w/ t-l EML, SC): (120pts)

Troops 3: (10 Guardians): (110pts)
- (Bright Lance)
- (Wave Serpent w/ t-l EML, SC): (120pts)

Troops 4: (10 Guardians): (110pts)
- (Bright Lance)
- (Wave Serpent w/ t-l EML, SC): (120pts)

FAST ATTACK

Fast Attack 1: (Vyper): (75pts)

HEAVY SUPPORT

Heavy Support 1: (Fire Prism): (160pts)
- (Holo-fields, spirit stones, t-l SC)

Heavy Support 2: (Fire Prism): (160pts)
- (Holo-fields, spirit stones, t-l SC)

Heavy Support 3: (Wraithlord): (140pts)
- (Wraithsword, Bright Lance, 2 Flamers)

Army Total: (1749)

So, the general idea is to break the mold, while still trying to remain competitive and keep a bit of fluff in the army. The fluff isn't really so important, and may be a little confusing here, whether it's Saim-Hann or Ulthwe.

Anyway, I can't seem to find it anymore, but the list I had I've seen around a bit already...minimum troop choices to field maximum amount of Wave Serpents as a super-speed tank army. The variation here is a sort of mobile gun line. Guardians start on the outside beside their tanks, everyone blast the major threats to the tanks, then when they get too close, wraithlord and avengers can hopefully wither them down then engage, while gun line shifts straight over the top of them using skimmer. This is my first real army, still building up to it. Any input would be really appreciated. Thanks guys (and girls) !

i like your style- but that list has to much stuff that isnt moving. most people go for a totally skimmer army (jetbikes included) or infantry army(usually including some jetbikes aswell). in most cases, there are some jetbikes and rest on foot. this army is totally moving APART from elrad and wraithlord.

im not so much of a fan of so many serpents, they are also better with BL as it is twin linked. its a nice list, but needs some rethinking.

Jetbikes,Hawks&Prisms? At 700 Points? Works for me!

It's good - but you should drop the Exarchs, especially the Bladestorm, and 5 of the Avengers to make it min size. Then, you can afford to have Fire Dragons, in more Serpents. Drop the Vyper to get more points - it's paper thin. See my Fields of Blood list for what I use, it's the same basic concept.

This is my updated idea. Comments? What do I do with 26 points? I'm not so sure how this list is going to deal with a turn 2 ork rush...or rather, how well it will do. And should I swap Eldrad for Yriel? Eldrad's gonna be hanging out with a group of DA's btw. This list relies on staying the heck away and putting out massive beatdown (I'm sure that's obvious). But eventually you always end up in CC, so I'm very open to suggestions. Thanks guys!

Oh and thanks for the advice guys . TKE DAVU lists are your speciality, and I love the idea, but I wanna create my own list . I really like your FoB list, great stuff, but I don't want to feel as if I'm playing someone else's idea. On the other hand, there's probably something very close to this list out there, but I haven't seen it ;). And I don't like dragons in a falcon...I just don't like the idea of a one use elite choice.

Fair enough.
I think Yriel does more than Eldrad (sorry big guy) for the list. That nets you 81 points altogether...Dropping Holo-Fields is 186...Gives you 6 Jetbikes, plus an EmboldenLock.

Or...3 separate Scatter Laser Vypers.

Woah, hold on, I'm not droping any holo-fields . If those prisms go down, I am boned, to put it in a nut-shell. They are the only thing keeping hordes from eating me in one elf-juicy gulp. And I agree with you on Yriel, I just wanted someone to tell me it wasn't so. I really do like Eldrad. Never seen Yriel in action. I'm thinking tactics for this list is going to be a reserve list, but that lets them get close, so I don't think that's a good idea. It's going to be tricky to use this I think, going to depend a lot on deployment, the only real reason I was still keeping Eldrad there.

Well, them and Tank Shock...

Yriel also conceals a pieplate in his face...

Indeed, but I'm not sure he can face down hoardes alone :D. Still, 3 seperate scatter lasers...hmmm, I'll have to play test it to find out which is better, but I don't like the idea of adding 3 easy KP and making another 3 easier. I think this list (by adding in Yriel and finding something to do with 81 points...) should be able to cope with all the missions adequately, so long as I play right. So what do I sink 81 points into?

should only be around 76 pts, but i dont think you should drop eldrad doom is a major orc killer, guide, doom should clean out a unit just woth guardians, while fire prisms smash other units...yriel is awesome, but eldrad is way too good to just drop, his advantages are much better...if you want close combat add scorpions and drop an avenger squad..infiltrate can harrass hordes its fun to watch hell theyll prolly die but theyll stall a unit and possibly whipe them
