Default Bikes and Wraiths 1500 - Hopefully not cheese

I've been playing my CSM/Khorne Daemonkin army and decided i wanted to try out shooting people rather than chopping them up. I like the eldar book since its fast like my daemonkin and i love the wraith models. I put together this list looking for something fast, fun, and not too cheesy.

Windrider Host
1x Farseer - Jetbike, witchblade, shurk pistol
1x Warlock Conclave - 1 warlock, witchblade, shurk pistol
1x Vyper - shurk cannon, TL catapults
2x Windriders x4 - shurk Cannons
1x Windriders x3 - shurk Cannons

Wraith Host
1x Spiritseer - witchstaff, shurk pistol
1x Wraithknight - 2 heavy Cannons, 2 shurk Cannons
1x Wraithlord - 2 shurk catapults, 1 shurk cannon
1x Wraithblades x5 - Axe/Shield
2x Wraithguard x5 - Wraith cannons

This comes in at 1502 so i need to do something about those 2 points. The Spiritseer would be the warlord and pall around with the wraithblades. The farseer in the wind rider host would join the smaller windrider squad. The warlock in that formation, since he is a conclave can he join one of the windrider squads or no? I left out the d sythes and i think the S Cannons on the bike are going to be a better bet that the scatter lasers given the bladestorm rule. I'm liking the formation because the wraiths will get to move 12" a turn until they are in shooting range with the 6" run guaranteed.

Not to burst your bubble, but you are talking about the Eldar codex. Short of putting down all Guardians in their skivies, pretty much anything you play will be called Cheese. That said, the list looks like a good starting point and if that is what you want to play, do it.

The Warlock cannot join anyone, though an IC can join the Warlock since he is not a Character. I like the way you're outfitting your bikes and agree about the Cannons over Lasers. I wonder if you could drop the S Cannons on the Wraithknight and fit in another Bike?

Ninja'd!
Good job I refreshed before posting

Yup no independent characters stops the warlock joining the squad, but you can upgrade one of the windrider squads to have a warlock as an upgrade.

Drop the shurikannons on the wraithknight. He can only fire two weapons a turn and the heavy wraithcannons are just better.

You may get cheese grief, but no scatter lasers is going to mitigate that
Although it would be nice on the bikes
Extra 12" range over shurikannons...

The Wraithknight is gargantuan, it can fire all its weapons at different targets I believe.

aye, thats what i thought also after reading the rules. I was thinking he could blast away with everything and that the shurks would be nice in case he gets too close to assaulty infantry. That helps me 2pts over dilemma.

I'm not so worried about the extra range from the lasers given that the bikes are so fast and the cannons have the standard 24" infantry gun rage. Plus rending like woah.

A cute trick is to give the Wraithknight one extra gun so you can shoot your StrD at two different targets and then shoot and assault a third. Great if there is a vehicle in charge range.

Gargantuan creatures are monstrous creatures that have additional rules. It does say that they may fire each of its weapons at a different target - but on p67 in the rules for monstrous creatures it say's monstrous creatures can fire up to two of their weapons each shooting phase so that's 2 shots at two different targets.
The gargantuan rules don't overide that as far as I can see
We have to treat them as mc's with extra rules.
Of course, I'd like to be wrong though

Hmm, I read "When a gc or fgc makes a shooting attack, it may fire each of its weapons at a different target if desired" on page 70 to mean it can fire each weapon it has.

I'm looking at is as
Taking 2 guns and shooting them at different targets follows the rule on both pages.
Firing 4 guns breaks the rule on p67

Either way, the shurikannons are where I'd save the points to get you beneath 1500
