Default 2000 point wraith army

So yet another list from yours truly.

Spiritseer x3
One has the wraithforge stone

Wraithguard x5
Wraithguard x5
Wraithguard x5
- d-scythes x5

All in wave serpents
-Scatter
-Cannon
-Holofields

Wraithknight

Wraithknight
Scatter laser
Cannon
Shield

Wraithknight
Sword, shield

So I think I have anti tank and infantry covered. Serpents should handle flyers.
I think I have assault covered because nothing except the most dedicated assault unit will have a hope trying to fight 3 wraithknights. Going to be stuck against anti against poison and grav weapons but what can you do

Yes, grav will suck, and so will poison.

But you can deploy smartly vs poison (D.Eldar have very few intercept, just deep strike the Wraithknights in). Also, your wave serpents will make quick work (as will your wraithcannons) of their AV10 venoms, so if you get first turn, it's game over.

Grav will just have to be target priority #1. And use the fact that you have awesome movement (Wraithknight jump wee) to stay out of their 18" range until they are dwindled down.

You may get outgunned against IG, and other things that have no problem getting stacks and stacks of S7+ shots, but it'll be a fun list to play!

Competitive could work great if you get first turn, but my feeling is Iyanden lists (heavy wraith) will just not perform as well as Saim Hann, Serpent spam, etc. simply because of the lack of bodies on the field. If your dice treat you well, you'll dominate a game - especially against other elite armies. But spammy gunlines will give you trouble. I faced a nasty artillery IG list (in SPEARHEAD of course), and barely put a dent in his heavy firepower. and I had a mechdar list (7 tanks). I had a fair amount of firepower, and still couldn't match that list (though he won the tournament).

You'll have to be VERY clever with target priority, get some good roles for your spiritseer powers (gogo +1 armor!), and get some key shots in.
