I see why you want it, however since it is a AV 10 vehicle I don't see you making much use out of it, especially as in a competitive environment the enemy should have something with interceptor. My recommendation is to take the points you spend on the exarch, the three unneeded Shuriken Cannons on the Prisms and buy a Skysheild Landing pad for the Tanks.

It provides a 4+ invul and cover save (which the holofields make 3+) and the large struts provide 25% cover for the serpents before they head off wherever you need them.

The Eldar, more than any other army, should not only look at the output of each unit individually, but the synergy of multiple units together and their role in the force as a whole. - Fable

The walls of the pad being up can obscure the models on top. Essentially being the same as the aegis walls, they would offer a 4+ cover save. It matters how tall you base is and the direction of incoming fire, but there is a potential for cover.

Interesting indeed. may want to check the rules for the Landing pad. It makes no mention of giving a 4+ cover save in it's own entry, but if it's a general fortifications rule, I don't see why not.

Otherwise, It would just give normal cover (it's not a ruin), which stealth/shrowd would still apply bonuses too. Either way, the invul is lovely enough

Perhaps not. Though if you are running the revised list with the Nightspinner, it can be way in the back corner, or behind a building out of LoS .

The pad itself is big enough to fit 3 Eldar Grav tanks + extra infantry models. The struts it stands on are also VERY wide and can easily block LOS or provide cover to our tanks and MCs.

The Eldar, more than any other army, should not only look at the output of each unit individually, but the synergy of multiple units together and their role in the force as a whole. - Fable
