Default 1k Eldar lists

Friendly games in a few days thinking of running this 1k list opinion, criticism welcome. Currently thinking of maybe dropping the scorpion unit to run a bigger spider unit or drop the spiders to run a larger or second group of scorpions.

HQ:
Farseer 105pts
(Singing Spear)

Warlock 40pts
(Singing Spear)

Elites:
Striking Scorpions 125pts
(5 Models, Exarch with Scorpion Claw)

Troops:
Guardian Defenders 110pts
(10 Models, Scatter Laser)

Dire Avenger 104pts with Wave Serpent 145pts
(8 Models) (Holo-Fields, TL Scatter Laser, Shurkien Cannon)

Fast Attack:
Warp Spiders 105pts
(5 Models, Exarch)

Heavy Support:
Wraithlord 165pts
(Shuriken Catapults x2, Ghostglaive, Scatter Laser, Blight Lance)

Fortification:
Aegis Defense Line 100pts
(Quad-Gun)

Total: 999pts

Farseer joins Dire Avenger mid field objective holder.
Warlock joins Guardian Defend unit deploys in Aegis Defense Line.
Wraithlord supports Dire Avengers in mid field
Striking Scorpions and Warp Spider work together.

6th has been harsh to combat squads. I haven't run any myself since, as our transports not being assault has really ruined their chance of making it into combat. Scorpions may work still, but I'd suggest swapping them out for another heavy.

Warwalkers are nasty, and so are Nightspinners in this edition. In a tournament last weekend, the Nightspinners were my second Stars of the game (Scytheguard being #1 of course).

I'd also suggest removing the Warp Spider Exarch if you need extra points - Most shooty exarchs aren't worth it anymore IMHO.

You may want a Brightlance in the guardian unit instead of the Scatter laser in the guardian unit, if you want more anti-tank. The SL doesn't Twin-link the unit, only the model firing it.

I think the Striking Scorpion can hold their own, +3 armor saves, infiltration lowers the need for a transport and mandiblaster gives auto str 3 hits, getting the charge will be more important to help counter the 3 toughness of Eldar. Yea the Bright Lance would be a good change for the Guardian unit. A Night Spinner would be nice could change out the Spiders and drop the Shurkien Cannon from the Wave Serpent to cover its cost. This would make the list:

HQ:
Farseer 105pts

(10 Models, Bright Lance)

(Doomweaver, TL Shuriken Catapult)

Wraithlord 165pts
(Shuriken Catapults x2, Ghostglaive, Scatter Laser, Blight Lance)

Fortification:
Aegis Defense Line 100pts
(Quad-Gun)

Total: 999pts
