Default NewDex - Wraith revise 2000pts (1 FoC)

Been going through the new book and here is the new addaptation of the army with the rules changes.

This is more of a fun list and is not meant to be very competetive. I don't believe the new edition of the game is very competetive to begin with, but that is for another thread. All I'll say is I love the direction the game has taken and I wouldn't have it any other way personally, it's just not competetive in the same sense as it used to be.

Previous list was:
Eldrad
Wraithseer (d-cannon)
10 wraithguard (spiritseer, conceal)
10 wraithguard (spiritseer, conceal)
Nightwing
Nightwing
Wraithlord (Brightlance, EML)
Wraithlord (Brightlance, EML)
Wraithlord (Brightlance, EML)

NEW LIST:
Eldrad
Spiritseer

10 Wraithguard (Wraithcannons)
5 Wraithguard (Wraithcannons)
5 Wraithguard (Wraithcannons)

Crimson Hunter (Exarch)
Crimson Hunter (Exarch)

Wraithknight (2 Heavy Wraithcannons)
WraithKnight (Scattershield, Suncannon, Scatterlaser)
Wraithlord (Bright Lance, Eldar Missile Launcher, Ghostclaive)

I'm a bit sad about the downplay of wraithlords. The knew Wraithknights are a pretty easy choice in this list. I might consider adding a lot more Wraithguard and keeping 3 wraithlords like my previous list had. Also, The inability to take the Wraithseer and maintain a psychic presence from the Runes of Fate list was another disappointment. The required HQ Spiritseer (For Wraith troops) is to blame for this indecision.

Another list for consideration (for dem lulz)

Farseer Bel-Annath (adds +1 Heavy Support)
Spirit Seer

10 Wraithguard (Wraithcannons)
7 Wraithguard (Wraithcannons)
7 Wraithguard (Ghost Axe, Force Shields)

Wraithknight (Scattershield, Ghostclaive)
Wraithknight (Scattershield, Ghostclaive)
Wraithknight (2 Heavy Wraithcannons)
Wraithknight (2 Heavy Wraithcannons)

I like the second list a lot more, its fluffy and can get the job done. You also can basically ignore enemy flyers with that type of list.

The Eldar, more than any other army, should not only look at the output of each unit individually, but the synergy of multiple units together and their role in the force as a whole. - Fable
