Default First try at Dark Eldar

I'm looking for a bit more of a challenge with dark eldar as opposed to my chaos marines which just run up and smash face. I'm looking for a speed and finesse army. This is my first attempt at a 1500 point dark eldar army.

HQ:
Duke Sliscus = 150
(Goes with Kabalite warriors)

Elites:
5 x Incuibi = 110
Raider = 60

Troops:

9 x Kabalite warriors, blaster = 96
Raider = 60

10 x Kabalite warriors, blaster, splinter cannon = 115
Raider = 60

10 x Wyches, hydra gauntlets, hekatrix agoniser = 140
Raider = 60

10 x Wyches, hydra gauntlets, hekatrix agoniser = 140
Raider = 60

Fast attack:

3x reavers, cluster caltops = 86

Heavy Support:

Ravager, flicker field = 115

Ravager, flicker field = 115

Ravager with disintegrator cannons, flicker field= 115

1482

Im not too sure what to do with the extra 18 points. I was thinking to give splinter racks to the kabalite squad that the Duke will be riding with, this way I'm able to re roll my misses and wound on a 3 plus.

All comments and criticisms are welcome

I came up with this trying to follow your design. I felt your units needed to have a little more of a focus. This also makes each units a little stronger at what they do best. I still wish I could get a couple of splinter cannons on the Venoms but I couldn't find any points to get rid of to do this. See what you think and if you like it more. If you are afraid of losing one of the trueborn if your Venom gets popped you can always pull one of the racks and the enhanced aethersails to give you enough points to get one more trueborn.

HQ:
150 Duke Sliscus
(Goes with Kabalite warriors)

Elites:
165 5 x Incuibi
Venom
163 4 x Kabalite Trueborn 4x Blasters
Venom

Troops:
151 9 x Kabalite warriors
Raider, splinter racks
160 10 x Kabalite warriors
Raider, splinter racks
185 10 x Wyches, 2x hydra gauntlets
Raider, enhanced aethersails
180 10 x Wyches, 2x hydra gauntlets
Raider

Heavy Support:
115 Ravager, flicker field
115 Ravager, flicker field
115 Ravager, flicker field

I actually quite like the list you presented. I still would like to have agonizers with the wyches just in case there is a high toughness character that somehow manages to get into combat. And I'm not entirely sold on the trueborn or the venom with the incubi, so I'll just have to playtest the lists and see which one I like better. Thanks for the input

The trueborn work a little better because the amount of blasters they have. With one blaster in each warrior unit you only have 2 anti-armor weapons in that unit. This is pretty low since you usually want at least 3 which is why the Ravagers are so good. You also have 17 Str 8 weapons in this army and a lot of splinter weapons which should have no problem with any high toughness units. Just make sure you think about the priorities of each of your units while you are deploying and throughout the game. This way those high toughness characters will not make it into combat.

once again you make some really great points there. I just like the idea of reavers as a harrasment unit to long range units like devastators, the 36 inch turbo boost is attractive to me for whatever reason. The idea of the true born is also very attractive, I'll have to use both of these lists and let you know how they work out
