k, then ill go and try that;) And maybe legs will work too! Ill go try it somewhere next week (out of GS atm ) and see if its possible ;)
Although I do think Ill create some sort of frame, so the soft greenstuff wont bend, while its hardening;)

And maybe the feet should be made separately?

some hints/tips/ideas would be great;) And im going to work with the SM legs;)

Just to let you guys know, casting anything with small details like spikes and such doesn't work very well. Trust me on this one

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Also, just to remind anyone that making mounds or castings of ANY GW-licensed miniature/model/bits is a big no-no and something *not* to be discussed on the boards (lest we get our asses raped by their lawyers).

You *CAN* sculpt an object yourself and make a mould of *that* (and we'll assume that is what everyone is doing), just don't talk about pirating miniatures on the forums or the chat or we all get into shit with GW legal.

You CAN make molds of stuff that you purchased for your own use. IE..., if I have a Forge world Fist logo that I purchased and would like to have on all my tanks I can make a mold of this and create as many as I would like. I just can't sell or "share" them with others.

It doesn't really matter whether or not you think it's legal. The rules of the site are...

This is a better safe than sorry situation.

You can talk about making moulds and castings all you want, and what you *do* with that knowledge is none of our business. But as long as GW is ready to sue the everliving shit out of people for piracy and counterfeiting minis, we're not going to put the board at risk by letitng people discuss copying GW stuff.

I don't care if it's legal or not, it's not happening here.

So talk about making moulds with a wink and a nod if you have to, but just don't come right out and say "This is how you mould a boltgun!" alright?

LOL, I try. Sorry to be the party pooper, I just don't want us in trouble with GW legal

I'm not going to purge the thread or anything, just giving people a heads up for future posts.

So...is there going to be a part two?

I forgot about that. Part two was supposed to be about how to create "original" molds for ornate armour and such..., Hummm, might have to put that one on my list of things to do.
