Icon Quick And Easy Columns

This Takes about 30 - 45 mins to construct then leave overnight before painting.

Im not very good at modelling with green stuff so the base's of my columns are a bit rough but I will mask that with moss and rubble.

What you need.

Green Stuff
Kebab Sticks (wood)
Snips
PVA Glue
A Pen (Biro or fine tip permi marker)

Step .1 Gut your pen then Cut it to the size you want at a 45 degree angle (this will be the top of your columns).

Step .2 Now coat your pen with PVA. Then stick a Kebab stick to it and cut it at the bottom. Do this all the way round.

Step .3 Make some Green Stuff and fill in the top of your column (the end with the 45 degree cut).

Step .4 Now make your base. (like I said im not very good at modelling Green Stuff so those of you who have mastered it do as you wish).

Leave over night.

Step .5 Cut your bullet holes , chips and dinks then paint.

Hope this works for you and its as Quick and Easy for you as it is for me.

Nice little tutorial there Grim. You just need to create a folder in your gallery, upload the photo's to it and then insert them into the body of the text as this looks much better than having a bunch of attachments at the bottom of the text.

Thanks

@Grimhad
Nice tutorial! That is so easy and obvious but yet completely brilliant, I would have never thought of it. +rep

No problems Grim, I have sorted it out for you...the main thing was you created a folder in your gallery so I was able to copy and upload the photo's.

You have highlighted an issue with the guide...looking at it now I can see it needs bringing up to date to reflect the changes to the site since the hack so I will get on that tonight when I get home from work.

Thanks for letting me know.

Awesome idea! This is going in the ideas box for when i finally get around to making some more scenery.

I would suggest maybe using cork for the tops and plasticard for the bases, but even so they look fantastic
