Help Me Build My Chaos

Hello Community.

My name is Aaron, im 21 years of age and Australian. I was earning plenty of money years ago and spent plenty on a Chaos Space Marine army. I dabbled with it for a while and then lost interest but the fire of Warhammer always slowly was burning from within.

I'm looking for some idea's on building on this army i know its horrible and a bit random but its what i bought years ago like i said. I don't want to get hard into tournaments but would love to actually have a formidable force so advice is welcomed.

Army's Name : Heartless Visions

HQ:
Abaddon The Despoiler
Daemon Prince not the new plastic set version
Daemon Prince of Nurgle
Chaos Sorcerer

Elites:
None

Troops:
Chaos Space Marines -(10)
Chaos Rhino
Khorne Berzerkers -(10)

Fast Attack
Chaos Bikers -(3)
Chaos Raptors -(5)

Heavy Support
Obliterator Cult -(2)

Summoned Daemons
Bloodletters -(10)

If anyone has any cool advice or idea's on building on this army that would be great.

Sorry Didnt know how to multi quote, ive been reading up on making bikes into Nurgle for that extra +1T and then whilst doing that i got caught up into the fight over are raptors better or worse than bikes.
So what i'm getting at are you one of those Raptor haters? and if so why?
I have the Codex and read up on it a bit but why would Defiler be your first Heavy Support choice?
Im having a look in the codex for The Bikes and are you saying drop 2 out of the 3 bikes close combat weapon and make thme meltaguns? and have the third biker a aspiring champion with a power fist and his standard bolt pistol?

thanks for the response and look forward for the next please hit my minion

People dislike Bikers and Raptors because they cost way to many points and are generally a suicide unit. Also there are other options in the codex that do the same thing they do only better. If you can keep their point cost low and keep them focused on a specific goal, they can still be useful in casual environments. However, you usually won't see competitive army builds using them. That being said you have the models already and I see no reason not to use them for your army. With what you have I would suggest you use this list or something close to it:

HQ
Daemon Prince - 175
  • Wings
  • Warptime
  • Mark of Nurgle
Daemon Prince - 155
  • Wings
  • Lash of Submission
  • Mark of Slaanesh

Troops
10x Chaos Space Marines - 220
  • 2x Meltaguns
  • Icon of Chaos Glory
  • Aspiring Chapion with Power Fist
10x Khorne Berzerkers - 300
  • Skull Champion with Power Fist
  • Rhino w/ Extra Armor

Fast Attack
5x Chaos Raptors - 130
  • 2x Meltagun
  • Icon of Chaos Glory
3x Chaos Bikers - 129
  • 2x Meltaguns
  • Icon Of Chaos Glory

Heavy Support
Obliterator - 75
Obliterator - 75

Summoned Daemons
10x Lesser Daemons - 130

Total - 1389

Use your fast attack options to tank hunt and use their Icons to deep strike in your Lesser Daemons where you need them. Get 1 more Obliterator and buy a rhino for the 10 man Chaos Space Marines and you'll have yourself a 1500 point army. It won't be the most competitive build in the world but since you're not looking for tourny play I don't think it really matters. It sure looks fun to play. Hope this helps

All this is helping thanks plenty. Im starting to feel like shopping some terminators on ebay now.
Would Vindicators help more instead of so many rhino's?

No to the rhino vindicator switch. CSM troops need to be in transports, and with you only having the 2 troops choices you really need them for the mobility.

Hi all, sorry to post in someone else thread, but you'll understand that it's impossible for me to do in a different manner since my problem is that I can't post thread and reply (except quick reply) because each time I do it, a message appear and tell me I don't have enough characters, even if I write something like 150 characters. Can anybody help me?
