One squad of Noise Marines does not exactly make it a Noise Marine list. No Blast Masters or Sonic Blasters make me think this is really a Not-Noise Marine list. Did you just take them for the mark or something?

I know you said this is 'Noncompetitive' so I will only pick on the really 'poor' parts of the list! (Not that their is a huge amount, it looks a fun list)

Drop the Second LC, and grab a power fist! you still get +1 attack and you get the choice of shreading or 'smashing!'

With the lord this will be a nice unit. I would look at finding the points for a combi-melta on the Champ. and note you can replace the boters on the bikes, so they still get +1 attack in CC

Havoc Launcher

Drop the Havoc, you cannot use it at the same time as the battle cannon. Same goes with the Lascannon although you can snap fire it, it still needs 6's so may as well get a autocannon that will allow you to shoot twice.

Icon of Vengace is a bit pricey but if you are woried about them running away I understand, could be removed to free up some points. I also would look about giving the same Hevey wepon to the whole squad, as they have to fire at the same target, the Autocannons would be useless against things you need the Lascannon for.


This is not a competitive list, I'm playing with some friends so I still want to win. Thoughts are appeased.

I see what you mean I was thinking of switching out the CSM unit with A unit of Noise Marine SB and BM.

I will look into changing out those other things you pointed out and will be dropping the marks on the cultists. I have one thing tho...

-From what I have read in the big rule book walkers and ordnance weapons work fine together. I have heard this before tho. This is my understanding of it with page numbers from the book to back me up.
Ordnance Weapons: "if a non-vehicle model fires an Ordnance weapon, ...the model cannot fire other weapons that phase." 51pg.
Walkers: (listed under the vehicles section) "A Walker that moved can still fire all of its weapons in the subsequent Shooting phase" 84pg.
With these two rules it seems like to me the Defiler can fire all it's weapons even the battle canon. Unless this has been FaQed and I missed it. I'm not trying to be rude or a rule book thumper either, it's just how I see the rules read in conjunction.

Ok, another round of comments, a few things I didn't spot before, or other changes I think you should make.

Iam not sure about this. I know the loyalists can pull this set up off, but with the chance of the crasy rush into CC, I feel its almost worth preparing to get them stuck in. In my (Limited) experience I have found them to do very well in CC, so I would drop the ML. The Lascannon is good you are short on AV 14 killers so its a good addition to the force

Its a better set up than before, I think my biggest concren is with the lone Flakk Missile, one skyfire shot isnt going to change the game and you will be snap shooting the rest of the squad, if you have to keep your wepon choice mixed becuse of model availability I would drop the Flakk. Personaly I would drop the Lascannons for more Autocannons and if if you can find 100pts for some agis defence line with a quad cannon, but that squad with the havoc's and if you do need to shoot a flyer thats 4 skyfire Autocannon shots and a pile of snap shots

Also I reread the rules of ordanence and walkers and sad Defiler.

And Yes, the Defiler is very sad this edition. Mine is becoming a Soul Grinder and its cannot turret a fortification, a starch built Vengeance Weapons Battery most likey.
