Default 1750 CSM - A newbies army

Hi.
My collection is growing bit by bit and after a couple of games in 5th edition and 1 in 6th, I would like to build an army that I can have a little more success with.

HQ:
Chaos Lord, MoK, Axe of Blind Fury, Sigil of Corruption, Juggernaut
(170)
Daemon Prince, Power Armour, Slaanesh, The Black Mace, Wings
(260)

Troops:
11 x Chaos Cultists +1 Champion
(54)
9 x CSM + 1 Champion with power weapon, Rhino, Meltagun, Flamer, IoV, Votlw; switching bolters for a ccw
(240)
9 x CSM + 1 Champion with power weapon, Rhino, 2 x Plasma, Votlw
(230)

Fast Attack:
6 x Chaos Bikers + 1 Champion with power weapon, Flamer, Meltagun, Icon of Wrath, MoK, Votlw
(221)
Heldrake with Baleflamer
(170)

Heavy Support:
4 x Havocs + 1 Champion, 4 x Autocannon
(115)
4 x Havocs + 1 Champion, 4 x Autocannon
(115)
Forgefiend with 2 x Hades Autocannon
(175)
---------
1750pts

The idea was that the HS provides a solid amount of fire, both the DP and khorne lord can move atleast 12" to get to the enemy fast, providing two units the enemy just can't ignore because they should be very very dangerous in assault. Cultists camp a home objective if there is any, the CSM squads should go to the midfield, first shield the advance of the bikes a bit and then provide another base of fire (plasma squad) or be a 2nd wave of assault (flamer/melta squad).
Heldrake will hopefully be able to clear out hordes nicely, maybe along with the DP and the Black Mace effect.

What do you think? A couple of questions I already have (besides if this list is viable in a non tournament environment at all):
- Do Havocs need Votlw?
- DP too expensive and maybe switch to a different HQ to stick to cultists (+maybe another unit of 10?)
- Maybe lose Votlw on the bikes to give the bike champion a powerfist?
- If I want to include a 2nd Heldrake, what should I switch out? Forgefiend? Prince?

Overall, the list looks pretty good. Here's a few suggestions:

If you do use the Daemon Prince, then I'd give him Mark of Tzeentch or Nurgle or nothing, not Slaanesh.

Never mix gun types in the same unit. Always give them two of the same type of gun, either flamers, meltas, or plasmas. Mixing just leads to ineffectiveness.

To answer your specific questions:

-No, havocs don't need anything besides guns and bodies.

-Yeah, Daemon Princes are a bit lackluster now. I'd use the points on a large (20-35) unit of cultists to accompany the Khorne Lord.

-Don't cut veterans on the bikes. Small unit meant for close combat, like bikes, are exactly where you need the veterans upgrade most. If you need points, cut veterans from the chaos marine squad with plasma guns.

-If you have to cut something, cut the forgefiend. It's not 'bad', but another helldrake would probably be better.

Good luck!

Thank you for your input.
I removed Votlw from the plasma squad now and with the free points I replaced the flamer in the bike squad with another melta along with a switch on the Daemon Prince from Slaanesh to Tzeentch. I assume the rerolls of 1s count for both the armor and the invulnerable rolls, this would make me harder to beat in combat than the shroud from nurgle.

The Khorne Lord on juggernaut will move with the bike unit btw, both can move 12" and they will all be T5.
Now I need to wait till my bloodcrushers arrive to convert him and I need to find a way to transport my heldrake.

Sounds good! (and yes, the re-roll of 1's apply to both armor and invulnerable saves)
