I like the list. It has a lot of flavor and many cheap, versatile units.
Rather than an awkward 9 man CSM squad for Huron (one of chaos's big weaknesses is in the transport area), I'd say buy a squad of Havocs or Chosen loaded up with, say, 2 or 3 meltaguns and 2 flamers, to complement Huron's heavy flamer and have them be a great anti-infantry and -tank squad.
I'm under-impressed by Maulerfiends on paper (they seem a but too easy to bog down, with so few attacks), and the Tendrils won't affect one of their main dangers—krak grenades—so I dunno. I'd rather have another Heldrake and some points to spend on Huron's Chosen retinue. Still, I haven't played with 'me, so I can't definitively dismiss them.
I'd rather have a Lightning Claw than a Power Maul on the biker champion. Against as many as many opponents that have a 3+ save as you'll be facing, you'll want an AP3 weapon—and as you always have to challenge, you don't want to be striking last with an unwieldy weapon. That leaves the power weapon, with +1 attack, or the lightning claw, with Shred. I've found the Claw to be sliiiightly more reliable, especially when you have bonus attacks on the charge. I do like the plasma guns there—that's right, take advantage of Relentless!
I'd consider Fearless icons rather than VotLW, but go with the latter if you really are devoted to a fluffy Night Lords army.
It won't be a top tier competitive army, but Chaos isn't that, this codex. The list is by no means bad; You'll still have plenty of fun—Huron, bikes, Heldrake(s), etc.
Just one question, fluff wise. Isn't Sevatar, the "Prince of Crows" character, supposed to die during the Horus Heresy? Who, then, is this new guy?
What sphinx of plascrete and adamantium bashed open their skulls and ate up their brains and imagination? Imperator! Imperator!
