Khorne vs Tanks

Fellow heretics, once again I have run into a problem.

I play Chaos Daemons, and to make things more interesting I only play with models aligned to Khorne, and of course to make the army more interesting to model and paint. My biggest concern is that I never ever in my battles has been able to defeat new edition Imperial Guard since the bastards always field too many tanks for me to defeat.

My problem is basically this: The only two things in a Khorne-aligned army capable of effectively battling vehicles is Soul grinders and Greater Daemons, both of which are huge models that draw all attention to themselves. Being almost incapable to take cover behind models and even forests or buildings, they get blown to smithereens before they can pay off their very high cost. The benefit other armies have are models capable of removing tanks that are small and easily hid, but playing Khorne I do not get that opportunity it seems.

So, do anyone have some kind of friendly advice to pass on? How do Khorne Daemons defeat tanks?

Its their achilies heel... khorne does not do well against tanks.

2 bloodthirsters and 3 soul grinders is the khorne army I would take against a mech list... but if you're getting killed then you could try DPs instead, just keep them cheap.

Other then that your whole army isnt too bad- bloodcrushers are S6, bloodletters and flesh hounds are both S5 (all on charge) which is plenty to destroy most vehicles... you are toast as soon as walkers show up.

Mainly though, if you're going to be fluffy and play mono-khorne then you should ask opponents to play somewhat friendly list... which means not full mech. If they wont change then you have 2 choices- lose a lot or play multi-god, throwing in tzeentch units for bolt and screamers.
