Default Seed Of Destruction

So this is my new build army, and btw I have the Italian(yes I can read and understand Italian) version of the daemon codex so don' t blame me if some options aren' t right

-Bloodthirster
+deathblow +blessing of the blood god +might impious +instrument of chaos

-The Masque

-Skulltaker on cart

-3 Slaanesh Fiends

-2 Bloodcrushers

-2x 10 Daemonettes

-2x 10 Bloodletter

-Soulgrinder
+tongue

I repeat some terms are probably wrong but I don' t have an english codex soz

In the end there is only Chaos...
Tyranids: Ragnarök Hivefleet Space Marines: Salamanders Chapter Dark Eldar: Blood Dragon Kabal
Chaos Daemons: Seed Of Destruction

Ok, I won't

Ok, you really don't need Death Strike or Instrument of Chaos. You are a close combat machine and should be beating faces off.

I'm personally not a fan. For an extra ten points you can have a Tzeentch Herald on a Chariot zapping things left and right. It isn't an independant character and really doesn't pull its weight as well as it should.

Still personally not a fan. The attraction to Skulltaker eludes me. To each their own though ;)

Fiends are nice. Unit of 3 might be a little easy to drop though.

I love Bloodcrushers, but prefer them in units of 4 or better.

I've never had Daemonettes work for me. If you can get them to work for you, this is a pretty good point value to do it.

Good solid units of Bloodletters.

I love my Soul Grinders, but taking them alone tends to invite a lot of fire.

Overall: Daemons are a tricky army to play when your opponent catches on to how they roll. What you are going to want to do is group your units in a way that most benefits you and not your opponent. Soul Grinders work best when dropped with other very large creatures like the Bloodthirster or other high toughness units. Have you considered how you would like them grouped?

The 2 units of daemonettes really cant split up- I use 3*10 in my slaaneshi army and find that 10 can just about hold their own but they really need back up from fiends or another unit of daemonettes to win. 20 Daemonettes kill pretty much anything you can ever think of though... whther you use 2 units of 10 in close support or just move them into 1 unit of 20 is personal preference.

Krisken is right about the fiends- they are awesome but really need units of 5-6.

As for the HQs; you cant go wrong with a BT, I prefer skulltaker in a unit rather then on a chariot.. though Im not his biggest fan, and I hate the masque. She does 1 thing, unreliably, and is piss easy to kill. 3++ save sounds good but with only T3 and W2 a few bolt shots at her and she's history. If you could use all 3 of her pavaners at the same target and move it multiple D6s then I would consider takig her.. but as it is its pretty iffy (daemon prince of slaanesh with pavane isnt so very much more points but is hugely more damaging and far far harder to kill).

Bloodcrushers are probably the easiest thing to cut from this army: I dont think bloodcrushers are needed if you use bloodletters- they do the same job. I would use their points to get more fiends.

Skulltaker has a huge attraction if you are playing against certain Armies, namely Nid's. He will mash any MC in a round of combat unless he's very unlucky, and woe betide any Warriors who get in his way.

He is good at opening tanks as well, His Rending along with Furious Charge means he Pen's AV 10 on a 4+. It's harder against say a Land Raider but he can still pen it on 6 and 5 or 6 for the Rend.

So what should I do ? Putting him on a cart or not?
What is the best tactic for him ?

I would stick him on a Juggernaught and put him with the Crushers or Bloodletters. If he's cruising about be himself he's a touch dangerous so will get gunned down very quickly.

He only rends on a 4+ against non-vehicle models. The only thing the 4+ rending thing gives him over his hellblade is the instant death rule... the increasd rending itself is utterly pointless (over the normal rending).
