Yes, that is correct. Attached thumbnails that open a new window/tab to see the full size pic are not. Take a look at Geckos Land Raider pics: those are attachments and unacceptable.

[rant]

Call me an asshole if you will guys but after having run these contests for Heresy for years now I have lost all patience with people who can't be bothered to read the rules in their entirety and follow them, especially when we are offering such sweet prizes. The rules are there for a reason and really aren't all that hard to follow so please do so. There are 8 rules listed in the first post but only 4 of them are really rules:

This contest will be purely for conversions only, no paint allowed whatsoever. Model MUST be shown without paint of any kind, even basecoat.

Only one entry per person

Please limit your pics to 5 total.

Pics must be direct links only, no attachments allowed. Also one picture of the miniature held in front of your monitor with Heresy Online showing is required as proof that this is in fact your miniature. If you are unable to take the proof pic, your mini will be disallowed.

4 rules in total to follow yet people just can't seem to follow them. Most do, far too many seem totally incapable.

Oh and that was not aimed at you Azwraith, it has been on my mind for quite some time now.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Trying from photobucket now:

Here is my entry to the competition, it's my Dark Commissar and he's a very naughty boy

The head is taken from a crypt ghoul, and obviously the body is from an imperial guard commissar

Good luck to all

RhYn0

*edit* some one has commented about imperial insignia being left on the model I just thought I'd point out that this guy is from my Genestealer cult and all insignia has been left on on purpose so the cult can remain somewhat covert and under cover

Before I post my entry, I just want to say how happy I am to be able to partake in a conversion contest. I don't paint, which leave me out of a lot of reindeer games. I'm glad to see a contest just for us modelers.

My entry is a Fallen Dark Angel Sergeant. The model is intended to be for a Fallen Angel Kill Team I was making. Wanting a bit of a centerpiece model to lead the team into missions, I decided to go for Cypher, with parts from the Dark Angel Vet squad. The replacement of the torso (to un-Cypher him) was a bit of a pain, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

One part I'm particularly proud of is the little fold on the one part of the robe, as it folds back on itself and out to the bottom flared part. Unfortunately, I think the angle of the pictures prevents it from being seen. Oh well.

Glad to participate (from Japan!), and I look forward to hearing the results.

Might as well add an entry in here too -

Unfortunately only a pic of the painted version in front of the forum for validation as I had finished him before finding this contest. If you want more proof that I modelled him, just ask and I can provide links to my photobucket with many more progress pics and links to forums where I charted my progress.

Cheers,

Dante

Default Kroot warriors with looted Rhino

Some of these conversions look quite nice. Here's my challenge for the conversion contest. On the tabletop it counts as three Krootox with Kroot Guns. (The guns are detachable.) Of course it's accompanied by a squad then.

The Kroot Guns are made of: a small round base, some card, two spare Kroot Rifles, a Battlesuit Shield Generator and a nail.

Turret-mounted gun for extra visual impact.

Two chatting soldiers hitching a ride. A lot of legbending here.

Moving out to face the enemy.
