Default Monthly Conversion Deathmatch - August Voting

July 2015 Voting

Voting is open to all members of the Forum. All entrants must vote, and cannot vote for themselves.

Each member of the Forum can cast one vote in each of the two categories by posting in this thread:

Most Innovative Idea: This category covers the pure imagination that fuels conversions so is for the cleverest idea irrespective of technical execution

Best Executed Idea: As well as ideas conversions are works of technical skill, so this category covers the ability to make a converted model look as if it has always been that way irrespective of how ambitious the change was.

Voting will close at midnight GMT on 9 September 2015.

Vote do not need to include a reason but they are encouraged.

For example, I might put:

Most Innovative Idea: The Mod Team - the Conversion Deathmatch is a great idea

Best Executed Idea: The Mod Team - the Conversion Deathmatch has been run very well.

The current full rules and FAQ can be found in the Rules thread.

This month's entries are below. There are more shots of many of the conversions from other angles in the Entry Thread:

GrimzagGorwazza

Xabre

Roganzar

Best Executed: @Roganzar - Both sides of that halberd are very nicely placed on that hand. I know how #$%'n annoying that can be!!

Most Innovative: @GrimzagGorwazza - Those grots are so good, and that fire extinguisher is just perfect.

@Xabre , I had to really look to figure out what had gone where even though it was only a few cuts. Very well done. Ultimately my vote went where it did because of the alignment on both sides of the hand, but your conversion is (as my bass player would say) 'totes crisp'

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

I love a good weapon mod, so @Roganzar gets my vote for Most Innovative.
@GrimzagGorwazza and his orcs get Best Executed.

Innovative - @Roganzar , these little added touches are what makes models unique. I can't stand having two models look the same.
Executed - @Xabre , Looks flawless to me as if it were meant to be that way.
@GrimzagGorwazza , I wanted to vote for you, but the Green Stuff work is a little off. It's not like I can do any better, and I don't mean to nit pick. I love the Fire Extinguisher.

Pawns betray, Knights die, Bishops conspire, Rooks crumble, and Queens lie. Be wary if you are the King.

Most innovative - @GrimzagGorwazza - So much character, I love it!
Best Executed - @Roganzar - Nice end effect from a pretty neat conversion.
@Xabre , I like the idea but the end effect doesn't really do it for me.

Most innovative: Roganzar
Best Executed: Roganzar

That is a great idea for a new weapon, axes can get boring sometimes, and it turned out great!

Most Innovative: GrimzagGorwazza - anything Orky with lots of grots coming off of it is great.
Best Executed: Xabre - That looks like a proper Eldar lance-weapon.
