Default Monthly Conversion Deathmatch - February Entries

It is the start of a new month, so welcome again to the Heresy Online:

February 2013

A valid entry is a picture before the conversion and a picture after the conversion plus an optional description of the conversion, posted in this thread. The full current rules and FAQ can be found in the Rules thread.

Work in progress photographs or descriptions are also encouraged.

Although this thread has only gone up today, any conversion started in February 2013 is eligible.

As February is a short month the entry window is slightly longer than a calendar month. Entries must be submitted by midnight GMT on 2 March 2013.

If there is anything that you think unclear or needs reviewing, however trivial, please post it in the Discussion thread.

Without further ado, Heretics, ready your parts, raise your tools, and start converting.

To further my new motivational desires for 2013 It's time to clear up some old projects and incomplete formations for Apoc.

Having managed to build and paint 2 Bowel Burnas I need a 3rd.

So here it is atm.

Add sheets of Plasticard and some Styrene Rod to that picture and that's my my 'kit' for conversion.

Ok, so my first entry to this fine competition was in fact half finished last night. It's nothing as epic as some other entries may be, but hey - it's my first time!!

Hopefully that image works...

... The plan is to create a turret type section to sit onto the back of a rhino, except instead of having guns on the turret, it will just be a shrine to the emprahs glory, complete with cherubs and servitors and loudspeakers proclaiming how truly awesome he is on his big metal chair....

I've completed some of it >

The rest of the rhino is in progress and will be covered in all manner of purity seals and scrolls and other bits of scrawlings.

I should state that pics of the parts are from a certain bits website that sells all sorts of kits.... I had already glued most of it together before this post went up so had to find pics of the original parts from somewhere

The thread did not go up at the start of the month so, provided the conversion was started in February, I do not see an issue with using a picture of identical parts.

However, all your pictures are a touch small at the moment; you do not have to change them, but if you can upload larger pictures then people will get a better idea of the effort you put in.

Where do you guys upload pics to to make them easily accessible to post in the forums? I could only upload small ones using an image host site I found (and subsequently cannot find again). Will try and get bigger ones uploaded.

A certain bits chap can vouch for the delivery date of the bits I've used.

Well, this makes me wish I took more pictures of my in work stuff. Sorry that my before pictures are "stock".

Goals: I wanted a Librarian on Bike for my Space Marine HQ, and I want all my HQ bikes to be special. So using the Quad bike conversion on this site as a guide, I created a librarian on quad-runner.

Before:
Old Metal Librarian (was a bitch to saw in half)

Two Bike Sprues:

After:
Finished him up last night, sorry I base coated the fig before taking the after pics.

Servants of the Laughing God (Harlequin Themed Eldar Army)
First Eastern Mirage Corps (C:SM)
I am the Evil Project Log (All my work since restarting the hobby)
The Crusade of Morr (WFB Empire Battle Reports)
Dem Bones (Dice Rolling Program)
