It's his stuff, he can do with it what he wants at the end of the day.
But, I bet that whilst he stood watching the army he spent so much time collecting, building and painting slowly melt and burn, he thought to himself at least once or twice, "oh bollox, what have I done?!".

Yus... And let's forget that GW will like you doing that... That's one person less who will sell his models in the second hand market... ;)

I had an AMAZING time at fightclub.

I arrived a bit late, so I missed the introductions, but man... I had an awesome time at fightclub! 10/10 I would recommend fight club to anybody!

Truly. Though considering the change to the game and which models are in production there's bound to be a shake up in the second hand market.

Mr cranky-pants might have believed that after the release of age of Sigmar the resale value of his army was worthless. Which lets be fair, is a reasonable assessment.

It's possible that the discontinued models will become sought after collectors items, but it seems more likely that the second hand market won't have a high demand for discontinued miniatures.

The demand for these older models following the release of age of Sigmar will only go up if people want them and they're scare.

More likely, people will mostly be playing age of Sigmar and the value of the old models will drop.

Some old models as said above will be highly prized and valued. Personally i would love to get a load of ratskins from necromunda as they look nice but i also use them as part of my reneguards (unless i use my clan eisha renegirls) as a command squad. Though i also have skaven in that army as some of my platoons... Jezzails (autocannon), Warpfire Throwers (flamers), Warplighting Cannons (lascannon or rapiers), Ratling Gun (heavy bolters or heavy stubbers) and Plagueclaw Catapult (heavy or quad mortars) do make nice heavy weapon teams.

The Liberators have been released as a separate boxset, a new Lord-Celestant on foot along with them, and the first of the new narrative books has been released as well. If these new narrative books are going to be like the books Warmachine releases, I am VERY VERY VERY pleased.

Also, theres the set of 4 Liberator squads.
http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Celestial-Thunder
Though one of the squads they show has a different style shield. They don't show it in with the sprus that are displayed. Now I'm wondering where that is going to come from or if there is an extra spru that isn't displayed with the Liberators.

I also noticed the shields, couldn't work out how many body's could be made up from the sprues shown because of fronts/backs, think there must be an extra sprue or two though.

reading the description each of the two sprues shown will make 5 guys and the formation will come with enough to make 20 guys.

I still love how this is ancient space marines against Khrone bezerkers. SO I imagine a lot of 40K fans will buy the famtasy stuff to add variations to their armies. Especially Blood Angel players. All the new names of things were a little weird but I imagine that is just to help GW copyright as much as possible.

I have never really cared about fantasy anyway so I have no opinion on it really either way. The guy burning his army was an idiot but I found it amusing. I am sure the people at GW got a great laugh watching it.

Maybe... But those celestials even dwarf terminators... So I think you'd have a size issue or 2 on your hands.

They are the size that regular space marines ought to have been, according to the fluff.

I wonder how long until the first chapter of Sigmarines (TM) shows up?
