Well, i can see where this is coming from: if you have a selling brand and another brand in crisis, what do you do? You take the successfull parts of the selling brand and inflate the struggling one with thse successful parts.
Read: put space marines in fantasy, 'cause they fucking sell like bread.

To be fair, it worked on me. I think that they look amazing, Stormcast and Khornate.
Honestly, I hope this works for them. The warscrolls are really easy to understand and use and I can see how they would use that in 40K. However, due to the reliance on primarily ranged weapons, and variety of those, I'm not entirely sure of the best implementation of those.
That and keeping the rules free will really help them out in the long run.

I can't believe I came back to this, my look in on how GW is doing was a bit shocking this time.

I liked fantasy, I even thought I might one day play again, but this?

It is like a terrible April fools joke.

Whether or not they've lost it really depends on how well this stuff sells. People seem to spend money on Space Marines.

So how long before Abaddon brings about the destruction of Terra, Cypher bumps off the Big E and he is reborn into a new body and leads chapters of chosen warriors across countless worlds in the fight against Chaos....... ?

I'll actually be buying a big book from GW for the first time in ten years.
More I play this and the more I found out the more it grows on me.
The new approachability has encouraged one of my friends to start up the hobby too.
