Wouldn't be surprised if GW started aiming to the Heresy series. Could be a reason it was dragged on so long. The 30k setting has a lot more plots and 10000 years to grow.

All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

It's more from their religion. Their main motto being "What is dead may never die". It just sounded familiar to me when it was put that way in the picture.

I have recently started a new Blog. I would really appreciate it if you would LOOK AT IT

Warhammer failed to keep my interest on four separate occasions of me trying to get into the game. No problems with the fluff, no problems with the models, I just found the game system itself tedious as all shit.

If there is a skirmish variant, or if the core game mechanic is changed enough to not be so rigid then I might just be tempted to try for a fifth time with the scaly servants of the Old Ones.

Guessing the Lizardmen went 'into the sea' and we're getting some Cthulhu-style resurgence from them, maybe?

I hope GW does not kill Warhammer off with more bad business decisions.

I hope that too

I'd wager this was done to make WFB a more accessible game system. Easier to pick up and play so that it can bring in newer players.
