In the first major hostile move since the Korean war, North Korea has used artillery bombardment of a South Korean island. This situation leads to the escalation of tension between the two countries as (as of the time of writing this) South Korea and the US have both condemned the attack. China, North Korea's closest ally has called for calm in the situation.
So, what impact will this have on the world now? Obviously this is part of Kim Jong Ill's provocation campaign against the western nations, who are allied with South Korea... but to what end?
