Chaos Bloodcrusher Composition...

Hey all you wily Chaos Vets.

I'd like to hear your take on how best to field units of Khorne Bloodcrushers with regards to their unit number.

Are 2 units of 3 each better or one of 5?

Um...i think this depends very much on the individual army.

Having 2 of them in one unit and run 3 of them basically gives you a mini-MC and works very well in conjunction with Letters and Netts. I've seen people who run Letters purely as firemagnets in small point games and work out exceptionally well. This also makes an extremely good way to give you more unit-counts so that you can drop in very imbalanced waves when separating the army.

Personally, I prefer small-ish units of crushers. No more than 4 is the common agreement. This gives you a smashy unit with an acceptable DS footprint, not overly expensive and also mean you wont suffer as much when they get tied up by a walker all game.

3 would seem like enough to me. Don't see the need to a HUGE unit, although it would be cool as its very likely to roll the enemy when it hits combat

I like them in two units of 3. This allows me to send the units in opposite flanks so my opponent has to split his fire instead of concentrating it on one unit.

God, gives children to people so that death won't seem so disappointing.
