2 Simple Questions

1. Is the blast on larger weaponry such as the baneblade cannon with 10" blast in radius or diameter, I'm assuming its diameter because 10" radius is massive, but i was confused because the hell-strike missile is D3" + 3" blast radius, any help ? thanks

2. What are Kaskrin, I mean they look awesome but do i use them as veterans with carapace, stormtroopers or what ? Thanks

1. Yeh it's the diameter of the blast. The hellstrike is D3 3" templates or am I wrong?
2. They are the cadian equivalent of storm troopers, just called something different I believe. The fluff is also different but gamewise they're the same.

Could use kasyrkin as veterans in carapace armour too.

Just a man, with a man's courage...and Terminator armour.

Storm troopers are like the elite infantry so they can like deep strike and infiltrate and stuff. They therefore have better armour, and guns and can shoot straighter, have more experience etc. They are also used by inquisitorial forces as shock troops and stuff.

I think the old Stormtrooper models were replaced with the Kasrkin for the Eye of Terror campaign. So they will be the models you use for Stormtroopers if you buy GWs intended models for them.

For in game things they are the least used IG elite slot, nothing more.

Yeah, that's the Storm Eagle Rockets, which are on the Manticore.

It is a random radius of 4 - 6", i.e. diameter of 8" - 12".

DEATH strike missile is the D3+3" radius missile. One shot, non squadron, IG ICBM launcher.
HELL strikes are the valkyrie single shot ordnance hunter-killers (essentially HKs with best-of-2d6 for pen that stop other weapons from being fired.).

Deathstrike is the ONLY blast in 40k (not counting add-ons like apoc, etc) to have a blast with a RADIUS of x". All the others use a x" DIAMETER.
The Baneblade megadeathkillcannonthing has a 10" diameter blast (the big green apoc pizzaplate) and this is SMALLER than the upper range of the deathstrike blast.

Kasrkin are the Cadian equivalent of the Storm troopers (Normally, Stormtrooper regiments are not deployed on the worlds they are raised from). Not exactly equal, but close enough for a D6 mechanic. The models replaced the older metal stormtroopers which dated from 2nd ed and are the current "stormtrooper" type models (although the older ones ARE available from mail-order with a commensurate increase in price vis-a-vis "finecast" price increase).

Hey! Where'd ... Everybody ... go?
