its wouldn't really that cheesy anyway since the crusader can't kill much, it looks like allot, but its allot of shots ignoring very few armour saves

Ok. That makes more sense. Guess it doesn't change my tactics up any than, because I was thinking that, as you have pointed out, it can only fire the PotMS. So, move 6" and fire everything, 12" and only fire with PotMS.

I was hoping..because DSing LR counts it as moving at Cruising, so I wanted to DS it behind the line, point it at some infantry and unleash hell with the bolters and pop the closest tank with my MM. Guess I'll have to stick with popping the tank and just unload my cargo and let them pop the infantry.

Depends, if you are in rapid fire range than they fire two shots like a bolter does, so 6 with rerolls.

I used to roll the dice, Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes

Great thanks for that. how did i forget about rapid fire. big face palm for me.

Just another quickie sorry for going off topic. But if i decide to rapid fire the hurricane bolter does that mean the dreadnought can still assault. I presume it does.

Thank God for this poat. I guess I skimmed to quickly through the LRC section and thought a Hurricane Bolter was three Twin Linked Heavy Bolters. I thought my God this thing is unstoppable. Now it makes so much more sense.

Only Fast vehicles would be able to take advantage of the Hurricane Bolters while moving at Cruising speed. Altho, IIRC, I think it's the BT codex that still has the old Hurricane bolters that may always fire regardless of movement.

A Land Raider Promethius has 4 TL heavy bolters.

It's a vehicle of pure win that makes the other LR varients look like a pile of shit.

All of this has happened before.

Actually it is possible to have an LRC move 12" and fire its hurricane bolters, if you play Daemonhunters anyway.

Pg. 32 Daemonhunters codex:

"The crusader may always fire its hurricane bolters, regardless of how far it has moved or what other weapons it is firing."

The DH crusader is also only 5 points more than a C:SM crusader and comes with extra armour standard. Also for an extra 10 points those bolters are all AP4 and ignore invulnerables.
