Troops getting cover saves for speed?

Would Jump or Jet Pack equipped troops that move/run get a cover save as vehicles/bikes for moving at a high rate of speed? I'm kinda unsure on the speed for cover rules even after reading over them a few times..and if they would apply to infantry moving at an equivalent speed..

Nope, they dont get any cover save- you get that for moving either flat out or turbo-boosting, if you cant do either of that then you arent going to get the save no matter how fast you move.

Ok. I wasn't completely sure. I thought as much because the movement a.) doesn't all take place in the Movement phase, and b.) can only reach 24" if a full 12" movement is made, 6" is done on the Run, AND the full 6" Assault move..wasn't entirely sure. Thanks.
