Imperial guard turned traitor

ok i'm new to the rules and i haven't even played a game yet
but i was thinking of using Traitor Guard in my army at some point
where do i find the rules for them so i may add them or even other armies like sister's
I'm hoping to make a army mixed with Traitor Goodness

I love to Mod stuff and would like to expand my figures and have idea's that will need some traitor army stuff

As far as I know there are no rules for actual traitor guard.

You just use the IG dex and paint/ convert them to be chaos is all.

After a long campain behind enemy lines Brother Sergeant Telion was put under Chapter scrutiny to test the purity of mind and body.
During his final interview he was asked "do you feel anything when you kill a Heritic".
He simply shrugged and replied "A slight recoil"
The interview finished shortly after.

Imperial armour the siege of vraks from forge world is an up to date book for traitor gaurd rules.

If you can get a hold of the old 'lost and damned' codex (in Codex Armageddon I think)that will be full of ideas. It is out of print now so you may even get a free download from the GW site.

I think there are ruled for traitor guard in one of the Siege of Vraks books, although i dont know which one or what they are but they are definatly there somewhere

Real Men/Women/Aliens/Heretics/Warp Spawned Filth/Big Scary Space Monsters play Battlefleet Gothic... why dont you???

thanks alot
it looks like both of the books (THE SIEGE OF VRAKS part 1&2) say they have rules for renegade and heretic army listings so now i just have to get 80 US dollars to order them

i think vraks part 2 has the full listing, so i don't think you have to buy both..but knowing GW you might have to!

Let the Galaxy Burn.

Just something to bear in mind is that the IG codex is likely to be more competitive, whereas the forgeworld rules are going to be more in the spirit of the fluff of a renegade force.

The Renegades and Heretics list in Vraks 1 uses the old codex with the addition of a Doctrine to represent the morale of the army being random, and allows you a squad of alpha legion.

Haven't been able to get a peek at the new codex yet so can't really comment on how good/competitive that is.
