Default Demi-Company Question

Took a look around and didn't see this listed question anywhere so I shall ask.
Since I started painting with an end goal of a playable force, can I paint two demi companies and play them both as A Gladiolus Strike force?
E.G. Demi-Company Ultramarines and a Demi-Company Imperial Fists or other from the SM codex?

Thanks for any help.

Under the restrictions on a Gladius Strike Force:

Quote:
All units in the Detachment must have the Space Marines
Faction and must be drawn from the same Chapter.
You could play demi-companies from each Chapter provided you also took Auxilliary choices for each Core choice, but they would for all intents be separate armies allied to each other and would not be able to form a Battle company together (hence the two Aux choices, adhering again to the restrictions for the GSF).

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.
