Default Codex Psychic powers?

So someone was trying to tell me old codex powers are now out of date and cant be used anymore, Is this true cant find this anywhere or Im just looking wrong. Said Space Wolves powers cant be use, Same with Necrons and and a few others, cant remeber

Without knowing what your "old codex" is it is hard to answer your question. I would recommend checking the FAQs to see if your psykers still have access to their codex powers or not. They are located here:

If the spell has Warp Charge then it should be fine. It is just you can no longer roll 2d6 vs Ld, you are using the new rules of rolling psy dice against it and trying to get a load of 4+s

Blood Angels and Wolves both use BRB powers now. The FAQs will detail further.

Necrons have no psykers.

Strange, but not a Stranger.

I just checked and you are right, also seems that Eldar now have to use the powers in the rule book as well
