Default need help!!

hey, i need a few points cleared up.

1) do dark angels get access to the armory at all?

2) how exactly do power weapons/fists work in combat (how to use them)

3) on side mounted weapons of tanks, is it possible to have one weapon on one side and another on the other side? or do they have to be the same?

Hmm, lets see.

1) Can't help you here, as I haven't seen the new codex yet. I imagine they have an armory.

2) Power weapons are basicaly a close combat weapon that ignores non-vehicle armor. So, if a Sargeant were to attack a Space Marine with a Power Weapon, the Marine would be unable to make an Armor Save against any hits from the Power Weapon that cause a wound. Invulnerable saves may still be taken.

3) Sponson weapons, as far as I know, are bought in pairs. So, a Leman Russ Battletank could have a pair of Heavy Bolters (one on each side) OR a pair of Lascannons (one on each side) OR no sponsons at all.

Hope that helps.

Actually, leman russes can have a pair of heavy bolters, or heavy flamers. The lascannon is "hull mounted", meaning it's the gun sticking out of the front, so you can only have one of those. And hull mounted guns are mandatory.

1) No Armoury as such. the equipment each character/unit may take is listed in their entry, along with point costs. EG, under the company master entry, all the wargear he is allowed to take will be listed with their costs. The usual limits do apply though

2) A Power Weapon will ignore normal armour saves. eg if a characer with a power weapon wounds a squad of guardsmen twice, the guardsman will not ba allowed any armour saves and will be taken straight off the board. It also strikes at the initiative of the user.

A Power Fist is different to a power weapon. It always strikes at initiative 1, and doubles the users basic strength. It also ignores armour saves in the same way as a power weapon.

3) sponson weapons must always be bought in pairs. However the Leman Russ can have a hull mounted weapon

hope that helps
