Default initiative test clarification

Ok so pretty simple question. Does the brb or srb specifically state that a 1 always passes, and a 6 always fails? If so which page is this on. My brb is 2700 miles away.

"Matt Ward is a veteran of a millionbillion battles and once destroyed an entire sector when he sneezed and farted at the same time."

Thx! Douche in charge of a tournament played me for a fool. What kinda sheister runs a tourny and doesn't play fair... Maybe he was honestly wrong, but its funny how people only forget rules when its convenient for them.

Said he auto passed initiative test cuz he was I8. Specifically stating it was auto fail on 6 in 5th but that the sixth ed rule book never said anything about auto fails. And subsequently killed my wraithknight in cc.

Yeah.....smells like a cheater to me. It's hard to claim ignorance when there's a big bold "Automatic Pass and Fail" heading underneath the characteristics test rules. Took me literally 4 seconds to find.
