I'll second that as I've been wondering for a while about Seraphim with inferno pistols (they get to reroll wounds). It is fine as a rule for the hand flamers, but with inferno pistols you will be shooting a lot of vehicles.

i've always assumed it did nothing extra to vehicles because they have no wounds.

Wife: "How much do you have invested in these ... miniatures?"

Me: "I don't think invested is the right word."

This is where it gets fun, because you don't roll to wound vehicles.

So as you are not rolling to wound you wouldn't get the reroll. You are rolling to pen/glance.

This is different from cover saves in that you are told to take cover saves as you would against a wound. But there are no wounds.

Wounds will be considered pens/glances in a lot of situations, but they are not equivalent.

The rules for vehicles just say to take cover saves the same way as for wounds. It doesn't make pens / glances equal wounds. You would need a specific ability to reroll armour pen.

The only rule which can do that is tank hunters I believe, otherwise d-lord in huge quads of warriors would be better from preffered enemy

Me: To be honest im amazed there isn't a chaos god of not revising or at least chaos god of procrastination

MidnightSun: There will be, when enough people do it. Y'know when the Eldar were all engaging in their hedonism and Slaanesh ripped open the Eye of Terror with his creation? Slaanesh will have NOTHING on the God of Procrastination, and his vile minions will carve the galaxy asunder in a thousand year reign of blood.... Tomorrow
