I've not seen it anywhere either, except for the Power Weapons bit.

Well, be prepared for lots of "this bolter guy is my missile launcher, and the other 4 guys who are exactly the same in every way are the regular Bolter guys"

WYSIWYG being gone is a very good thing, for one it will stop people asking the same fudging question of "do I have to model my ass on my chaos marine?"

And WYSIWYG all boils down to common sense anyway, if somebody goes
"haha lolzor, this misle luncha is ma flama lolz, an tis butgun is ma lasooooooorcanan lol rofl"

or it allows you to play loads of different builds without magnets or spending a fortune. ie today my one special weapons guy is x instead of a. or my 50 cheapest build guants from 4th are now 50 of the cheapest build guants from 5th.

50 old edition models I have no issue with, but somebody constantly calling a flamer a plasma gun just because they are cheap little hobos who can't be arsed to buy a plasma gun from a bits site and pin the weapons can Piss off, especially if 1 counts as alternative weapon will make no difference in a game, guaranteed, saying 1 models weapon is different will not make a list better, so why do it or encourage it?

The only bit which is a bit WYSIWYG are Power Weapons really.

Unfortunately this is going to cause another wave of those utter dingbats who want to play the game in secrecy, don't have WYSIWYG models and refuse to tell you what models are holding because 'ZOMG TACTICS'
