No offence, but I would prefer you not to adjust my posts without messaging me, as it is not from me, and it is my post. It's not moaning its simply my argumentive comments on other people's points. Scarabs hit on 5's and then 4's. There rules, Strength 3 WS 2, so 5's and then 4's for the scarab rule of Entropic Strike.

Except thats wrong when considering vehicles. They hit on a 3+ against vehicles in 6th edition. Vehicles are either ws 0 for not moving or ws1 for moving.

I've never hit a vehicle on a 5+, even in 5th edition, where it was either auto-hit, 4+ or 6+.
Because Vehicles (minus walkers) have either weapon skill 1 or two, it makes scarabs incredibly dangerous as, at worst, they hit on a 3+, roll for Entropic Strike on a 4+, then armor pen at the reduced value.

So on a minimum unit of 3 scarabs attacking a moving vehicles:
15 attacks on the charge
15*(2/3) = 10 hits
Entropic Strike = 10 * (1/2) = 5. 5 reduced armor

So against a Land Raider, it now has 9 armor all around and can be glanced to death by the scarabs on good pen rolls.

Its all in the rules. If it was someone who was telling you this, then they were wrong. If you have doubts, always check the rule book. The back few pages has charts saying what you need to hit/wound against your opponent based on your strength and weapon/ballistic skills.

When do vehicles become WS2 - I thought it was if they are stationary its ws0 and if they move at all then it is WS1?

They are: WS0 for instant hits if they were stationary, WS1 for 4+ if they moved... you'll never hit a vehicle on a 5+ unless it has special rules that make it harder to hit (ignoring walkers).
