Default Questions about DE pain tokens

How exactly does the pain tokens from Haemonculus work if I swap him from one group to another.
For instance, lets say I have two squads of Kabalite warriors that I deploy fairly close to eachother, one with a Haemonculus in it, and one without.
If I then move the Haemo over to the second group, do I keep the pain token on the group he left?
So doing this will allow me to get a pain token for two squads before the first shooting phase with just 1 heamo?

Pain Tokens must be split as evenly as possible when ICs leave units, but if it's uneven (like if there is only one pain token, or 3) then you can decide how you want to place the extra one.
