Lysander

I have to go with Lysander on this one. But, I am a little biased as well. My own Chapter is an IF successor.

IRRC Rockfist was the guy who killed a bunch of nids, right? I wouldn't equate that to surviving being adrift in the warp. Then, being captured by your most hated enemy. Followed by torture at the hands of some of the cruelest beings in the galaxy. Followed by leading an uprising bare ass naked; which includes escaping off planet. When you do get back to your chapter you have to endure interrogation by Chaplains and Librarians. Who I can't imagine bust out the kid gloves on something when verifying corruption. Then going back to the planet you were tortured on; consequently raising it to the ground. All this after you were already Captain of the First Company!

Who the fuck is "Rockfist"?

Never heard of him, that is the same as an auto win for Lysander, for he is far more famous than the other guy.

Arjac Rockfist- he's the "I can't believe its not Lysander" SW wolf guard upgrade character.

Never read any of the fluff for Arjac, and only a little with Lysander in... but even with little knowledge I woiuld have to say Lysander, after all Arjac is beastly, but still not an officer.

What's that got to do with anything? Being an officer does not mean they automatically have a higher weapon skill, despite the game mechanics saying it is so.

Its pretty much standard fluff- marines and sgts are nails but if a captain enters the fray there's little comparison. Then again if you have chapter masters or even primarchs you go from immense to beyond words (well almost).

Some are naturally talented and more built for fighting - but occasionally, some are better fighters than leaders - such as the case with Telion, Chronus, etc.

Compare Sven and Ragnar from the original Omnibus - Sven was probably a better fighter, yet Ragnar had the leadership qualities.

However, having said that, I'd still give it Lysander.

Arjac is just a big marine, I can only assume the Phil Kelly had a blow to the head when writing the Space Wolf Codex. Arjac almost died killing a bunch of random Kraken things then did some unnamed heroics. Lysander tale is one of epic proportions. Lysander is also Captain of the 1st company making him ultimately more badass.
