Even if they were tsons posted on other worlds, wouldn't they be affected by the ruhubric of Ahriman? I am new, and i might not understand the lore but wouldn't blood ravens be walking suits of armor in that case? Honestly I lean towards the 21st founding explanation.

I highly doubt it since if the blood ravens were loyal Tsons that were off planet when the SW hit prospero, they would have been seperated from the Tsons that fled to horus and the eye of terror, its when they hid in the eye of terror/fully turned themselves to tzeentch when the mutations were occuring and ahriman tried to stop them, now loyal Tsons wouldnt have been with that group of Tsons they may actually have been fighting them under a new name, IE blood ravens? and the fact that if they're were loyal Tsons that didnt flee they wouldnt be subject to the mutation either that ahriman tried to stop for the traitor Tsons, so basically 2 different groups of Tsons, traitor = affected by rubric, loyal = not affectd by the rubric because well they werent there

And welcome to the forums, hope this explains it for you

It could be that they wanted to disassociate themselves from their past as warriors of the Emperor after he supposedly sent Russ and the Space Wolves to destroy them. (After all, it was not revealed to them, possibly save Magnus, that it was Horus who turned the Space Wolves loose on the Thousand Sons in order to gain their loyalty.)

So when altering their appearance from their old scheme, they adopted the colours of Tzeentch to some extent. (Fire being a part of Tzeentch's motif, blue and yellow would easily come from that.)

Damnation is paved on good intentions; subtle and sugar coated or blunt and honest
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down.
Popularity is what people strive for when they lack the strength to be themselves.

Seriously, is it really that hard to write reviews without spoilers?

Here's a thought while the Rubric affected all Tsons that were alive did it affect any stored geneseed. If not the Administratum could have grabbed it up and seeing how useful the Tsons were to Chaos made the Blood Ravens and hid their origins. We know about the cursed Foundings so why not this.

EDIT: because I rather foolishly misunderstood the last post, and now I have a post that really has no point... tum-te-tum...
