Default Fury Interceptors

any fluff or BL novels on Interceptor pilots??

I just finished watching Top Gun again, great movie, and I wanted to find some 40k fighter stories, and being how this is 40k years into the future I don't care about the guys tethered to gravity I want to learn about the guys flying in space!

Dan Abnett's "Double Eagle" is a corker for fighter fluff

As Tawa said, Double Eagle is a solid one.

There's some in Abnett's Sabbat Martyr as well (just a handful of pages, to my memory).

I think McNeil wrote a short story based upon the characters in Double Eagle called "Apostle's Creed".

There's a bit (a tiny, tiny bit) of mention of space fighters in the short story "Prince of Crows".

There is a bit on Interstellar Void Combat in Execution Hour and its sequel whose name I have forgotten. They're a bit dated though when the fluff was a bit more loose and less comprehensive.

Whoops, didn't see you wanted space fighting.

Yeah, Double Eagle is all in the atmosphere. Avoid that if you want space fights.

No worries fellas, thanks for the input anyway.

Yeah I can't seem to find anything along those lines. Maybe I can write BL and ask them to pitch the idea to one of their writers.

There was one book were there was a scene involving a space bomber and escort.......I think it might of been another scifi book though.
