Default If you were a legionaire astartes would you blindly follow your primarch

even if the primarch's orders conflicted with the emperor's or conflicted with you and the rest of your legion battle brothers

if your a blood angel, and sanguinius told you to do something..... would you do it, even if you thought it was dangerous

if your a luna wolf and horus told you to do something, that maybe the emperor was against, would you do it

etc. etc.

(think in terms of pre-heresy)

What is the point of this topic? You're obviously going to get different answers depending on the poster. Never mind that this is yet another topic that you've created about a subject that has been explained ad nauseum by a number of novels, novellas, short stories, Index Astartes articles, etc.

I'm wasting my time by even responding to this, aren't I? Well played, good man. Well played!

Oh, I gave you an answer. It's located in the first paragraph.

And I'm sorry, man, but I will post away - I'm not trolling, you just don't like the points I'm raising. Beyond that, you flood the forum with topics that don't really require discussion because they raise the most obvious of questions. Don't act disappointed when they inevitably fail to generate stimulating discussion.

In this case, the question you asked is about as valid as "do bolt guns fire bolts?" There's no discussion to be had. Does that sound like a daft comparison to you? Everyone knows they fire bolts, just as everyone knows what the answer to this topic is as well. The vast majority of the Space Marines of the Traitor Legions did follow their Primarchs' orders, even when they conflicted with those of the Emperor. Clearly that wasn't the case with ALL of them, though - hence that whole Isstvan III affair.

But by all means, man. Exercise your right as a poster in these forums to create topics that are neither here nor there.

To be fair, this is only about the second time I've seen you reply to one of your own threads.
