Default Favorite Army in 40K

Who knows if this has been done before but I figured I'd throw one up here like it and see what happens. What is your favorite army in 40K and why? Do you like the fluff, is it the units you've got it bad for, or a combination of the two? Let's here it, Heretics.

Blood Angels all day, every day. There are many that come close, but none of them have Furioso dreadnoughts with weapons that have the nickname 'blenderfists'.

As an aside, you have two slots for Tranids and no Tau.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

A clerical error on my part. The first Tyranids are supposed to be Tau...

Death Korps of Krieg the because they are the most grimdark of all, have stunning models, and their outdated combat tactics are awesome.

My first 40k army were the Dark Eldar but the first time I saw the CSM, It was love at first sight. I guess I just loved horns and gribbly bits when I was younger but when I got older, I started getting more into the fluff and I just really liked it. I love the fact they are genetically enhanced and heavily armoured soldiers BUT without the rules, without the honour (most of them at least). Just a bunch of cool, bitter and sadistic killing machines.

And I have always had a thing for the bad guys.

From iron, cometh strength. From strength, cometh will. From will, cometh faith. From faith, cometh honour. From honour, cometh iron. This is the Unbreakable Litany, and may it forever be so.

I say Imperial Guard, due to the fact they can field armies of tanks easily and cheaply, as well as the fact every Guardsman is given four things upon recruitment, a standard issue flashlight (which they refer to as a 'lasgun' for some reason), official Cardboard box (which they cut up into something called 'flak armor'), a hardbound toilet paper holder (commonly referred to as The Guardsman's Uplifting Primer'), and a wheelbarrow to haul around their massive steel balls in.

I love everything about the Astartes, them in general, the specific chapters you mentioned in the poll, their history, the Grey Knights, Death Watch, the days of the Legions and the Primarchs, the mind boggling feats they can perform, and just their sheer epicness in general.

But for all that, in a universe full of Xenos of all varieties, from the endless, inevitable Tyranids and the enigmatic and dying Eldar to the brutal and consistent Orks. Amidst the horrors of Chaos and the warp, unleashing deamons, traitor marines and all their other tricks. With all this and so much more, you have ordinary men, slugging it out against all of it. The Imperial fething Guard. Big god damn heroes.
