Default Would you take this? If so why?

Okay, so I got my hands on the IA:Apocalypse book. Lots of goodness in it. But frankly I'm confused about something:
Why would anyone take an Arvus lander? It's 75 points, has no weapons, armor 10, and BS 3 (Why have a BS when it has no weapons?). It can transport 12 models, but with armor 10... yeah. I mean bolters are going to be a threat to it. So why would you take this?

Fluff reasons.

And what shoulder, & what art. Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat, What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain? In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp, Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears, And watered heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see? Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Or as part of a mission/scenario, like that one where the IG/SMs have to get the Governor/General/Illegitimate son of a Primarch to the shuttle before the CSMs do rather nasty things to him like making him watch Fox News or making him sell Mary Kay products...

This...and use them like Rhinos in an IG Air-Cav themed list.

Me, I can't stand the model so would never buy it anyway.

Yeah the Arvus is more something I'd use as a really expensive objective marker than anything else.

It would be an awesome for an airborne regiment, especially with a few dozen of them.

The Website kept telling me that my profile was only 80% complete without creating a signature. Ain't no website going to tell me I was a lazy shit, no sir.

I guess I should have been more specific when I asked why you would take it. Sure I can understand using the model to mark an objective. But I mean paying the 75 points for the model in your army list.

I mean for 75 points you get a wanna-be flying Rhino with no guns and worse armor. for twice that price you can take a Valk that comes with 2 Heavy bolters, better armor, a Multi-laser and better transport capacity.

I guess if there's a fluff reason, then it makes sense. From a purely gaming standpoint though I can't think of a reason.
