Ye the marines really did do well. They totally outflanked my force and managed to fire the Bombardment cannons at point blank range causing massive damage. That and the fact that it took a couple of turns for me to bring some lances to bear. Also those Thunderhawks were a knightmare!!
The Strike Cruisers were deployed in pairs for mutual support and were able to use their vastly superior manouverability to cause no end of problems. I think they are a very good fleet in anything but a straight forward engagement. They are not a heavy slugging fleet like the Imperial or Chaos, they are a sergical instrument used for objectives and strike missions, and at this i think they excel.

Real Men/Women/Aliens/Heretics/Warp Spawned Filth/Big Scary Space Monsters play Battlefleet Gothic... why dont you???
