Ah, but you see... his disgrace as described in the AE is caused by "the triple disasters of Gholghis, Stratopolae and Krak Fiorina", which are the exact reasons he's been reassigned on Damantyne in Iron Within. Not a single mention of him turning against his legion. Just a disastrous campaign we already knew about.

His name is also "a byword for failure on an epic scale". If it was set after Iron Within, I'm fairly certain the guy who manages to lose a Grand Company and a strike cruiser to Dantioch and 30 marines would have quickly replaced him as the byword for failure within the legion.
