Actually it does, depending on what hair dye you are using and where you are keeping your hair brush. If it's in an area that is generally dusty, or has thick carpets or bedding, it's likely that it's in regular contact with dust mites. Dust mites are attracted to the hair in the same way as dead skin, and as they partially digest the diaminotoluene which is common in modern hair dye, the colour of the dye will begin to fade. What's more, the combination of diaminotoluene and the enzymes produced by the mites actually formms a mutagen, causing the bugs to grow to almost human size. At these vast proportions, they are incredibly dangerous. It's likely they have killed and eaten several of your neighbours by this point, and hidden the corpses under your bed.
