Default How to train your Dragon

I know it's a kids film, but this movie is awesome!

The plot is well trodden 'free willy' type stuff, but the characters are fleshed out and well rounded, and it has 2 big things going for it - Dragons and vikings.

The vikings are totally over the top, stereotypical and cartoonish, but it works really well.

The dragons are the key focus of the entire film, treated with great intrigue and revere, the writers have gone to great lengths to make a really cool dragon kingdom with loads of different species and traits. 3D dragon riding is also pretty special.

Best dreamworks film since kung fu panda, and almost as good.

Havent seen the movie myself but have been told about it by a workmate thats a pessimistic, negative old sod thats unimpressed by everything in the world in general, that he was as rivetted by the movie as his three grandkids were( aside from the fact hes got a lazy eye and cant see the 3D imagery). Coming from him its got me convinced to go and see it
