Not sure if this counts but-

All of the fight scenes in The Rock.

The first battle in Starship Troopers, along with the attack of the base by the Bugs.

The final battle in Avatar.

All of We Were Soldiers and Saving Private Ryan.

The Longest Day, entire film.

A Bridge To Far, same as above.

Zulu Dawn, who doesn't?

Letters from Iwo Jima.

There are many more, but those are the only ones that come to mind at the moment

Nyctophobia- Fear of the Dark Angel.

"No one ever spoke about of those two absent brothers. Their separate tragedies had seemed like aberrations. Had they, in fact, been warnings that no one had heeded?"

'Killing a man is like fucking, boy, only instead of giving life you take it. You experience the ecstasy of penetration as your warhead enters the enemy's belly and the shaft follows. You see the whites of his eyes roll inside the sockets of his helmet. You feel his knees give way beneath him and the weight of his faltering flesh draw down the point of your spear. Are you picturing this?'
'Yes, lord.'
'Is your dick hard yet?'
'No, lord.'
''What? You've got your spear in a man's guts and your dog isn't stiff? What are you, a woman?'

Might not have been the greatest battle scene but, the music just made it feel so epic to me. I'd have to agree the battle scene at the fort is pretty cool, and who could forget where the British get ambushed?

To add to my choice of Saving Private Ryan, I also love

ALL of the battle scenes in 300
Revenge of the Sith: saber battle between Anakin and Obiwan
Avatar: the ending battle is fucking awe inspiring thanks to the use of 3D.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Order 66 in the Jedi Temple was very good, even if not much was shown.

The final battle in The Golden Compass was excellent.

All the fight scenes in Chronicles of Riddick were amazing, especially Riddick fighting the Necromongers on Crematoria.

Celtic Predator fighting the Aliens in AvP was great, just wished he had finished the Alien off quicker rather then toying with it and ending up dead.

All the fight scenes in Transformers and Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Optimus Prime versus Megatron, Starscream and Grindor was an epic fight.

The final battle in Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End.

Some of my favourite battles above, there's probably more but I dont remember them that well. - The Kabal of Shattered Souls Project Log - Check out Talk Wargaming for reviews by Lord of the Night.

I think the end shoot out in Flame and Citron is amazing. If you like WWII movies, rent it. Go now. Leave. Get the movie.

Oh, sigh. Everyone is mentioning the wrong bloody fights! Fools!

Star Wars: RotJ Luke vs Vader and the fighter attack on the Death Star.

Matrix: The FIRST MATRIX fight scenes with Morpheus, Neo and Agent Smith. All of the fights in the 3rd film were (excuse me) fucking terrible.

LotR: The final fight in the Fellowship. Aragorn, Boromir, Legless and Gimli vs about a hundred Uruk Hai.

Message of the Day: Acting + Good music score beats special effect stupidity any day of the week.

The Bourne Films: All of the fight scenes, some of the chase scenes.

Bond: Most of the set piece battles are pretty good if you ignore Pierce Brosnan.

Serenity: Where a 90 pound girl takes out every single man in the bar! Funny as hell. Also Mal vs Operative, both fights.

Special mention: Dawn of War 1 opening FMV. Best. FMV. Ever. Followed by DoW 2. Except the Farseer should blatantly have won.

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.

I didn't get that scene. At the beginning of the movie he couldn't hit the can, and then suddenly he was a gunslinger. Did I miss something?

Personally I'd have to say all the fight scenes in The Patriot, that is if you can stand high doses of Pro-American bullshit without getting physically sick.
