Still loving Death Note although only about halfway through.
Favourite movie is Vampire Hunter D - Bloodlust, although the sound track is messed up on the Pal release - the music is too loud and the english only dialogue is too quiet. Amazing animation and characters though.
Love the classics like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Battle Angel Alita, Monster City, Metropolis, Devilman movies and of course I won't forget Fist of the NorthStar - but the movie not the 90 episode series!

I think if I'd have to pic a favorite, it would be the first slayer's series. It's fun, has some great action and sillyness combined, and very amusing to watch in general. I generally don't watch movies more than once, having them imprinted in my head for later review generally ( Yay photographic memory ), but the slayers series I do come back to.

Rah Xephon... Cowboy Bebop... Samurai Champloo... El Hazard... Full Metal Panic (all three)... FLCL... Daibuster... and the Samurai X OVAs. Rah Xephon definitely being number one, the rest shuffle around depending on my mood. I recently watched an anime called Darker than Black... it was ALMOST a really DAMN GOOD series, but it was just missing something. Not a favorite, but one I recommend. Other than that I'm pretty much an anime whore. I like a lot of different series.

Favorite Manga are Lone Wolf and Cub and Blade of the Immortal.

First has and always will be FLCL, then Trigun and Evangelion in a deadlock for second, folowed by Anything to do with Haruhi Suzumia (XD), Bleach, Gintamma, and lastly on the list of those that qualify for favorite would be the movies Howles moveing castle and sky crawlers (both currently under the influence of shiny new movie syndrome so their awsomeness may fade with time. They were both cool tho)

Not knowing wether there is an anime, but loveing the first volume of the manga, I also have to mention R.O.D. (read or die) Verry lolworthy.

Could have sworn I'd posted in this thread already...

some of the best visually have to be

ghost in the shell
the ghibli films

The manga of all time has to be battle royal, it is just an awesome combination of storytelling and connotations, only a child would mistake it for random bloodshed or enjoy it because of (bloody sickos)

otherwise the mainstream anime and manga (manga being the prefered)
naruto, bleach (blood and swearing were cut out of the american versions of the first two),
fairy tale,
666satan (made by the creator of narutos younger bro),
gantz (only read the manga also not really mainstream),
cardcaptor sakura ,
ranma 1/2,
psyren (awesome and only began about 2 years ago),
hajime no ippo (an awesome boxing manga which has been going on for about 30 years),
battle royale (the manga NOT the movie, that was an insult to the manga storyline), hellsing (don't like the english voices in the anime),
full metal alchemist
fruits basket
death note (an amazing story writer)
elfin lied
Berserk (can't get enought but takes ages for new volumes, considering the detailed drawing i'm not surprised)
gun x sword (watch the anime too its awesome)
soul eater

Thats all I can think of for now, read those and know your life was not in vain

Tau 9/5/10
Yeah, his names cutey.

Ghost in the Shell, then Full Metal Alchemist

Black Lagoon-epic
Cromartie High School-hilarious
Outlaw Star-pretty cool
Samurai Champloo-awesome
Fooly Cooly-epic

Bleach was cool, but I stopped watching it a little while after second season, too many fillers in there for me and too long , but I'm kind of getting back into it now.

Tales of Heroism and Bravery, in the 41st Millennium and the Old World. Perhaps some Realm Gate Wars in the future .
