sorry I didn't get back, I was kinda, locked in the naught box by the mods.

its difficult to compare it because to me it is perhaps the greatest anime I have ever seen, the only anime that in my opinion comes close is Ghost in the shell, it has a very compelling story with great characters you can actually feel attached to and sad for, it looks amazing, and even the dubbing is brilliant, which is a shock.

there are 2 series so far, the original is 13 episodes long, and the second (although not as good is still amazing) I don't know yet, I'm only able to find up to 9 so far.

if yah wanna watch it look round Kumby.com under G, its got the whole first series and up to 9 of the second

wikipedia has info too

Dragon Ball Z is my personal favourite. Although I am a little sceptical about the movie...

I'm not a huge anime fan but I like more futuristic, deep , dark and dystopian themes. Ghost in the Shell is good and so is Jin-Roh: Wolf Brigade..other than that I know that I don't like most fluffy anime. Oh, and Ninja Scroll was alright but a little too ultraviolent for my taste.

berserk is pretty ok too.

Harlock in arcadia is an old favourite of mine.

recently watched linebarrels of iron, was decent, but short.

started watching 07-ghost and it looks promising.

I didn't 'forget' Fist of the North Star.

I left it off intentionally. It was crap.

But then, I only like a small amount of anime. Things like Trigun and DBZ are just cartoons for kids (and I stopped being one MANY years ago).
