Default ROBOCOP remake and GOD OF WAR movies

For the life of me I cannot find were I read that a remake of Robocop is being made. I personally loved the original, (hated the other two that followed) and really didn't see a reason to remake a classic such as this. Anyone else heard of this?

Also, I heard that a movie was being made from the God of War game series. I love the games, brutal. I just cannot find any info on it. Anyone know about this too?

1: remakes always suck, just look at batman
2: movies based off games always suck, just look at tomb raider

why people keep making these 2 fatal mistakes I'll NEVER know

ill give you #2 but some remakes are good, just look at the new batman movies prolly the best since Batman (1989).

the remake of Hulk(2008) with Edward Norton(i believe thats how his name is spelled) was many times better than the earlier one (2003) now were these movies all that great is up for debate...

i feel that remakes can equal or surpass the originals, in some cases its just incredibly hard.

personally I though the batman remake was the biggest pile of tripe I ever have seen, except the (not so) incredible hulk, that was so bad it no longer registers, not the the first was any better

There's exceptions to every rule. Especially the game one. Want proof? Watch Max Payne and Silent Hill.

Max Payne I haven't even seen advertised yet, so that'll have to wait, and silent hill was good, but didn't make me think of the game really

It wasn't out for long at the Cinemas, but it's on all the usual streaming sites.
A lot of people didn't like it, but if you liked the games, you'll love it. It not only stays true to the game for the most part, but it expands on it.

What about the upcoming Star Trek movie? Looks like it has promise at the very least.

But usually, Stella is pretty spot on (although I enjoyed the Batman remake).

It's like the inverse logic of games based on movies. When was the last time you saw a good one of these?

(Note: Good does not mean that you didn't enjoy it. Case in point, I'll always have a special love for the Super Mario Brothers and Double Dragon movies, even though I know they are both pretty horrendous movies.)

Fear the blindman!!! ::charges off::
Dude, wrong way
